Joshua Chapmon

founder/executive producer

Josh grew up as a missionary kid in Johannesburg, South Africa, where raised as a P.K. (preacher’s kid) and a M.K.(Missionary Kid) profoundly impacted his life. His parents set the example of what life is all about and gave him a great love for missions and the Church! Upon graduating from high school he moved back to the states to go to Liberty University where he graduated with a B.S. in Communications with a concentration in Video Broadcasting.  In 2008, he began his career with LionStar Films in Atlanta, Georgia where he quickly learned the demands of the industry and got to be a part of helping to produce, shoot, and edit many local tv programs, international documentaries, and corporate videos for some of the world's leading companies. In December of 2011 he felt called to move to South Carolina, where he joined the team at NewSpring Church as the KidSpring children's’ curriculum video director. KidSpring and NewSpring Church has played a huge role in setting the example of being Kingdom Minded in Josh’s life. KidSpring creates children’s curriculum for birth-5th grade kids and gives it away free of charge for the world to use. He and his wife, Jenilee, and son Judah, live in Anderson, South Carolina, where Josh is still working as a video producer for KidSping, and Jenilee decorates wedding cakes. Josh has always had a passion for the global church, and a heart for world missions. He loves to shoot and edit video, but also has a passion for teaching others. He believes that video is the third wave of communication that God is using to spread to gospel across the world, including unreached people groups, and people in Christian hostile territories. Josh founded WALK Missions from his home, out of a heart to help churches, missionaries, and other non-profit ministries tell their salvation stories, and walk alongside them serving and partnering with them free of charge.
